back to schedule >> Hips & Haunches: unfolding and refolding with ease.
This class focuses on opening the channels of the legs, hips and low back in order to create space for deeper interior breath, observation, and movement. Together we explore the unfolding (and refolding) of the hips both actively and passively in order to dig deep into the layers that often restrict us. Accessing the hips opens us up not only to deeper seated postures and arm balances, but it can also help to unravel mental and emotional tension as their place in the center of our body so intimately relates to the rest of the mind-body connection. This will be a fun & insightful class balanced in both flow and stillness leaving the hips feeling free and mobile.
