YOGA & CULTURE RETREAT. TEWA, KATHMANDU March 4-9.
The retreat will be held at The Tewa Centre, a brand new, residential conference facility in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. This exciting new development is surrounded by panoramic views of the hills, stunning green farmland and a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. The complex was designed to give a feeling of peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of the city (but only fifteen minutes by car) and provide a welcoming space for meetings, gatherings and events. The state of the art facilities are set in beautifully landscaped gardens, filled with colorful flowers, and this attention to detail is echoed in the interior of all the function rooms. Daily schedule includes: • Morning meditation & yoga practice • Breakfast • Cultural tour or lecture • Lunch • Free time • Evening yoga practice • Dinner • Evening program **On March 4 we expect participants will arrive throughout the day. An evening opening circle will be the only scheduled programming on this day. **On March 9 we will begin with morning meditation & yoga. After breakfast, the day will be spent traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Dinner and accommodation will be provided there. A video from The Tewa Centre: Deep Yogini from Nagarik Aawaz on Vimeo. |

frank Schuler.Frank has been practicing and teaching Yoga for over 14 years now, and is still excited to
discover and let in more calmness, brightness and inner strength. He is fascinated and touched daily by awareness and mindfullness of all 'human affairs'—the body, the emotions and the human mind. He is happy to be a student of Tsakpo Rinpoche on the path of Tibetan Karmapa Buddhism. Frank runs the Lord Vishnus Couch Studios in Cologne/Germany, and the Yoga Conference Germany. He teaches classes and workshops everywhere. |
liz huntly.Liz Huntly is a mover and shaker, a barefoot philosopher, a collector of languages. She mostly lives in Cologne, Germany, but feels at home anywhere she can comfortably get into vrksasana. She's infinitely curious about the body & the breath, plants, art, magic, beauty, failure, and how to find the sweetness of being lost in the world. She wants to watch you fall in love with yoga.

roland jensch. To live and experience Yoga you don't have to hide out alone in a cave for years or follow the usual clichés. A deep practice is also possible in our urban environment. That which we are looking for is already there—we only have to learn to look closely. I believe you can only share what you have experienced yourself. The foundation of my teaching is my own intense practice.
I am an enthusiastic vinyasa yoga teacher, because I see a parallel between our everyday lives and the flow of this practice. We are immediately confronted with our strengths and weakenesses, and learn in the truest sense of the word to deal with ourselves better. www.lizandroland.com |
